Gowran Park, Sunday

1.35 Zarzyni (Ronan Whelan)

He is our second two-year-old runner of the year. He’s a nice horse by Siyouni and it’s a nice place to start him off. It’s a small field as well, so all in all, it should be a good experience for him. He will appreciate going seven furlongs and he will improve for the run, but we like him and he has pleased us in his work.

2.05 Libras Power (Shane Foley)

She has a poor draw which is unfortunate, as she has been in great form since she won at Leopardstown. She will have it all to do to from that draw, but if she gets the breaks, you’d like to think that she’ll be competitive – it’s never easy being drawn so wide over seven around here.

3.15 Kodianne (Mark Gallagher)

She was placed around here last year. I ran her in Roscommon on Monday where she disappointed, but she was in season and she should be out now. Mark felt that we should try her over a mile the last day he rode her in Gowran, so hopefully we’ll get her back on track.  She is well capable of winning one of these races.

4.20 Cartesienne (Ronan Whelan)

She ran a nice run first time out at Gowran over a mile and she will appreciate the step up in trip. If the rain happens to come, being by Pivotal, that will help her. She has strengthened since her last run and she will improve throughout the year and I think that she is up to winning her maiden.

4.55 Pearlman (Ronan Whelan)

He had a good run the last day, but I think he’ll appreciate the step back in class and he is will capable of getting involved in a race of this calibre. He has been running consistently well all year and he is adaptable ground wise. He has been in very good form and we are looking forward to running him.

5.30 Terzetto (Ronan Whelan)

She has had no luck so far this year and we will try at her new trip on Sunday. She looks great and I think she’ll appreciate the small field and we are looking forward to getting her season back on track.
