We have just 2 runners each day at the Curragh this weekend.

4pm ROMAN TURBO  (Ronan Whelan)

Roman Turbo takes his chance in the Anglesey Stakes (GR3) and is well drawn in 6 of 7.  He has done well since his course and distance win on Derby weekend.  It will be interesting to see how he handles the step up in distance.  I have been pleased with his preparation and his work in good.

6.20  TAKE SILK  (Ronan Whelan)

Take Silk is a fine big filly which has taken time to come to hand.  She has been pleasing us recently in her work and is ready to start.  The ground and trip should be ideal.

4.55  RAYOUNPOUR  (Ronan Whelan)

Rayounpour ran well in Cork on his last run and he has done well since.  He should appreciate the step up to 1 ½ miles on a galloping track.  Conditions should suit and he should give a good account of himself.

5.30  TIRMIZI (Ronan Whelan)

The change of tactics and drop back in trip the last day didn’t suit him.  Despite the small field this looks a competitive race.   He has run well here in the past and should do so again.  Any rain that falls will help.
