We have a quiet night runner wise at Dundalk tonight with only 2 runners – in the first and last races.

We introduce the filly Beethoven’s Gal (R Coakley) in the 5.30.  She has a lovely pedigree, loads of size and scope, still quite raw and she is a filly we like.  Drawn 13 isn’t ideal, but I am looking forward to her getting a good experience as she is a filly for the future.  This is our first runner in the colours of Frank McGovern.

There is a long wait around until the last race, where we run the very consistent Lady De Vesci.  She is stepping up to a mile and a half which I don’t think will be any problem to her, given the way she has been finishing in her races recently.

These races are always competitive by nature but despite carrying top weight of 10 stone, I think she will run a big race.  Colin Keane has won on her previously, she should give him a good ride.

We are looking forward to 2 meetings at Dundalk next week and we expect to have runners both nights.
