We are a bit light on the ground runners wise over the weekend, but we run two nice fillies at Dundalk and Gowran tonight and Sunday respectively and we have seven for The Curragh on Monday.

Dundalk Friday – 7.00 Miss Snossyboots (Ronan Whelan)

Her confidence is sky at the minute after winning her last two, and this looks a lovely race for her. I don’t think the drop back in trip will be an issue for her and she is in great form. It’s a small field and it’s a lovely pot to aim a nice filly liker her at. She has won her last two starts at Dundalk and she’s working well. Sheisdiesel sets the standard – she has won her last four all at Dundalk. As I said, it’s a lovely pot and I am hoping for a very big run from our filly.

Gowran Park Sunday – 3.55 Surrounding (Shane Foley)

Surrounding (centre) – Curragh

She ran a career best the last day when third in what was a very competitive listed race at Leopardstown and that form has been boosted since, with the winner going onto win the Gladness Stakes. I’ve been very happy with our filly and it’s great for the Newell family, who are great enthusiast’s and love their racing. This filly has given them a lot of fun and I am sure there is more to come from her. This looks a competitive race, but I would be concerned if the ground dried out quickly and it went holding. It was loose when she was third at Leopardstown and ideally, she’s like good ground. She’ll take her chance and the more black type she can pick up, the better.  Who’s Steph is the highest rated runner in the race and looks the one to beat, but I’ve been very happy with our filly and I am sure that she’ll run a big race.
